Solar Worth-It CalculatorTerms of use
Last updated October 2026.
- Educational estimates only. Results are estimates based on the numbers you enter and simplified assumptions. They are not financial, tax, legal or engineering advice and aren't a guarantee of savings.
- Verify before you decide. Confirm incentives, utility rules and system design with your utility, your state energy office, a qualified installer and a tax professional.
- No warranty. The tool is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate but can't guarantee it's error-free or current for every utility.
- Affiliate links. Some links earn a commission. This never changes the calculations.
- Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for decisions made or losses arising from use of this site.
